As
a servant leader, Dex is assisting a very capable team in the development and
commercialization of Draths' bio-based aromatic chemicals. He is excited to
help the Draths team in building an industry with Draths being the global
leader in completely replacing use of benzene, toluene, and xylene in the
production of materials such as caprolactam, purified terephthalic acid, adipic
acid, and a host of materials that are renewable and expected to be
cost-effective upon full commercialization.
Dex
joined Draths Corporation in early 2010, after spending two years in private
equity to pursue acquisition of materials’ companies.
| Prior to that, Dex worked in general management with three
different materials companies as a general manager over 20 years. In one, he
enjoyed commercializing a new family of compositions from small batch processes
to full commercialization. Dex also relished his work in commercializing a
capital, mechanical equipment startup-company early in his career.
