| Opening the door to a new era of 100% biobased polymers
| Draths Corporation was founded in December 2005 to commercialize technology developed in the laboratory of John Frost and Karen Draths. A research facility was established in Okemos, Michigan and the first employees were hired in April, 2007. Since that time, Draths has grown considerably and we moved into our new state-of-the-art facility in Lansing, Michigan in 2010. Today, we are scaling-up our first 2 commercial products: caprolactam for Nylon 6 fiber and engineering polymers and purified terephthalic acid (PTA) for polyester polymers used in rigid and flexible packaging, fibers, textiles and films. Other materials, such as adipic acid, are ready to be commercialized.
