Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA)
- Draths' PTA will be produced from our muconic acid technology platform
- Customers will use our PTA (along with biobased ethylene glycol) to produce 100% biobased polyester (PET) polymers
- Applications for polyester polymers include flexible and rigid packaging, fibers, textiles and films
- PTA demand is nearly 45 Billion kg/year
